May 20th/09 POLYDACTYL (extra toes) TABBY MISSING!
A REWARD WILL BE OFFERED FOR HIS SAFE RETURN!

He is 12yrs old now although can appear quite youthful when playing. River is a Green eyed dark grey and White Male neutered cat with a slim body. River is quite identifiable with his eight toes on his front paws. He is very friendly but may appear quite timid on first meet. After moving to Sechelt late last year River spent the winter season due to snow mostly indoors with his sister and two dogs. This unfortunately meant he was not too familiar with the area. We are located by the water close by Mackenzie Marina in Sechelt. He was sighted recently near the vicinity if Anchor road and Trail avenue and may be somewhere within the Hackett Park area now or surrounding streets. We search early mornings and late evenings calling his name and have posted notices in many of the local streets, Sechelt mall and the Coast Reporter. Please contact us if you have him safe or are feeding him from time to time. Even if you think you may have seen him so we may get an idea of his possible location. We miss him dearly and think of him always Db1914@telus.net or Mrnightporter@telus.net

Our beloved Lucy was spooked, or taken by a predator sometime between the hours of 5:30AM and 7:00AM on Easter Monday, April 13, 2009. The household had been in upheaval as Monica had been in Hospital in Vancouver for a month and Geoff was travelling back and forth a lot.  Monica came home the Wednesday before Easter.  We had to move some of the furniture around in order to get the hospital bed in the living room.  Lucy wanted to sit on Monica and couldn't because of the wound site, but she was happy to sit on her usual spot at the end of the bed.  Lucy's longtime friend and housemate, Jack, rescued from the SPCA five years ago joined Lucy outside in the early morning.  Birds were singing and Lucy is a keen hunter.  Around 7 in the morning, Jack was coaxed out from under the back porch, but of Lucy there was no sign.  No blood, no fur, nothing.

Lucy is a a grey and white tabby Maine Coon X.  She has a wonderful ruff, tufts on all her toes, the Maine tail.  The only thing she lacks is the Maine ear tufts.  We have put posters up everywhere, have notified SPCA and Happy Cat.  Can you please post a notice.  We miss her and Jack really misses her.  Thanks.
Monica and Geoff, Browning Road, Wilson Creek, 604-885-4514

PIXIE, a small, shy grey & white short haired female cat about 6 years old, definitely more grey than white (not tabby), but she has a white bib and white paws with a distinctive grey/brown spot on the right front paw is missing. She has a delicate, triangular face with golden sort of eyes and - unfortunately - not the best teeth or breath as she ate only canned food before she came to me. She went missing from Selma Park Road on May 25. She was wearing a red collar with a name tag and bell.
