Tabby w/white missing in Sechelt, last seen June 19th/09

My cat has been missing since the evening of June 19th. His name is Xowaywan (pronounced Coo-way-one), he is nine years old and greatly missed.  I have asked all of my neighbours if they have seen him and nobody has any information of his where abouts.  I let him out on the evening on Friday and he was not around on Saturday morning to come in for his breakfast.  He is a large tabby/cross approximately 10 lbs, and extremely shiny coat (he loves to clean) and he was neutered approximately 4 years ago and has an "N" tattooed in his left ear when looking directly at him, he was wearing a bright purple flea collar as well.  I live within the area of the Sechelt McDonalds restaurant and since my cat was neutered he rarely ever leaves home unless he comes for a walk with me to the Sechelt Pier.  If anybody has any information please contact me at (604) 885 1483 my name is Melodie.

May 27, 2009
Hello, Our beloved Lucy was spooked, or taken by a predator sometime between the hours of 5:30AM and 7:00AM on Easter Monday, April 13, 2009. The household had been in upheaval as Monica had been in Hospital in Vancouver for a month and Geoff was travelling back and forth a lot.  Monica came home the Wednesday before Easter.  We had to move some of the furniture around in order to get the hospital bed in the living room.  Lucy wanted to sit on Monica and couldn't because of the wound site, but she was happy to sit on her usual spot at the end of the bed.  Lucy's longtime friend and housemate, Jack, rescued from the SPCA five years ago joined Lucy outside in the early morning.  Birds were singing and Lucy is a keen hunter.  Around 7 in the morning, Jack was coaxed out from under the back porch, but of Lucy there was no sign.  No blood, no fur, nothing.
Lucy is a a grey and white tabby Maine Coon X.  She has a wonderful ruff, tufts on all her toes, the Maine tail.  The only thing she lacks is the Maine ear tufts.  We have put posters up everywhere, have notified SPCA and Happy Cat.  Can you please post a notice.  We miss her and Jack really misses her.  Thanks.
Monica and Geoff, Browning Road, Wilson Creek, 885-4514

SMALL TABBY CAT WITH WHITE MARKINGS MISSING IN SECHELT! LAST SEEN APRIL 29TH/09

Our lost cat is ‘Rosie’ – she is a very small, brown, black and grey tabby with white markings.  Her two most distinctive features are a pale pink nose and a rather short, think tail for her size.  She is older (we think she is about 13) and not the most friendly cat, so might be hard to approach. Being very chubby, she also can’t move particularly fast if she is being chased.  She went missing on Wednesday, April 29 late at night. We live at the corner of Mason and Norvan Roads, in West Sechelt .  We’ve been told that there is a lot of coyote activity, a young bear nearby and a large raccoon hanging about, so we fear that she is gone, but we are looking in ditches, buildings and sheds, searching the ditches, calling all the vets, talking to our neighbours and posting signs.  We haven’t given up hope yet! Many thanks for your help in our search. pmharvey@dccnet.com   604-740-0018

BROWNIE IS NEW TO TOWN & IS MISSING IN ROBERTS CREEK:
November 16, 2006
This is my little girl Brownie. I recently moved here.. about 2 Months ago to Upper Roberts Creek,(Hanson and Clover Road area to be exact) from Ontario and brought my 3 cats with me.
Just recently Brownie has all of a sudden disappeared and she is my 6 year old green eyed baby. Ive attached a picture and hopefully someone has seen her or picked her up. She's a very sweet cat, a little nervous around people because its only been me mainly around her. She loves temptations treats, usually when she is outside and I want her to come in all I have to do is shake the package and there she is.  So it was really weird last Wednesday when I did just that, and no Brownie. She knows her name, anytime I say brownie, she meows softly. Will do anything to locate her. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully find her for me. Melanie (Brownies Mom)

Comments:  OH NO!! Jade/Lucky Lucy is missing again!!

It seems like this girl is a true runaway!! Her kittens are now nine
weeks old (2 of them are still available for adoption!) and she has
already left. She managed a Harry Houdini escape out of a small window and disappeared. Jade has street smarts but she is very much missed by both her real owners and her foster mom! She is likely in heat again already and is cruising the neighbourhood. If you see her, please let us know -- she is a very friendly, talkative tabby cat with the longest back legs that you've ever seen.

She left from the upper Leek Road area of Roberts Creek, above the highway. Come on back Jade, you are missed by everyone! If you have any information, please call 886-3698. ces@gol.com
