October 20th/10:
Thank you to the family of Floyd, a very beautiful black and white cat who went missing and is still missing from her home in Secret Cove. The Safe and Sound website appreciates this donation and
it will be put to good use announcing the new look of the site (a new site for Safe and Sound will be up in a few days with the same address) in the local paper and will also go towards monthly
hosting of the site. Thank you very much.
Here is Floyd's posting everyone. If you spot her, please contact her family.
Floyd went missing Sept 15 near Wescan Place road in the Secret Cove area. Floyd is a medium sized, black and white, more black than white, spayed female approximately 5 years old. She was
normally very good about staying in our yard. Smudge and Trip, our other two cats also miss Floyd a lot. Floyd has a tattoo – RW41 and a micro-chip. We miss her a lot. If anyone thinks they
have seen Floyd please call

Sept. 14th/10:
A big thank you to Pam Thomson who sent a generous donation to Safe and Sound. A cat named Molly who was staying with Pam who was/is a foster cat of her daughter's rescue shelter escaped one day
from her home in Wilson Creek. Molly is afraid of most people so it was going to be difficult to get her back inside. As well, Molly had only been at this location for a short time and was an indoor
cat! It took almost 40 days but Pam's dedication and love and some tasty treats allowed her to finally trap Molly and get her to the vet and now Molly is back with her daughter in Coquitlam as an
indoor cat.
Thank you so much Pam for your donation. The site will continue on so Safe and Sound can be there to help future pets in need.
*If you want to read Molly's story, please check the REUNION page.

July 8th/08:
Thank you so much Bernadette Calonego! Bernadette lost her beautiful cat Freddy last October in the Roberts Creek area. Though she never found him, she has made a wonderful donation to the Safe and Sound website to help other animals get home. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Thank you to the Allen family who has made a wonderful donation to the Safe and Sound website that will allow it to be hosted on the internet for the next 12 months!! Thank you so much Jennifer
and Lonnie for helping this site to continue to be available for everyone to use.
So glad that your puppy is back home again!

Thank you to Peter and Jean Rice for their kind donation. Despite the fact that their cat made it home on her own, they have made a contribution to the Safe and Sound Website so other cats and
dogs can get back home too!
Their cat Chloe's story has also played a role in updating the suggestions found on this website and in my emails to help people find lost pets. Because Chloe was accidentally locked in a neighbour's
basement for 9 days, I am now suggesting that people ask their closest neighbours to specifically check these areas when a pet goes missing. It does happen and Chloe is the second cat that I now know
of that this has happened to! Click here to read Chloe's story!
We're so glad she survived and is back home with her family!

Thank you to Meghan Hill and her family for their wonderful donation to this website. The funding will go towards a new ad that I plan to post in the local newspaper in an effort to let people
know that this site exists and is free to anyone who might need to use it.
It is my great hope that your young grey and white cat, 'Phoenix' comes home to your family soon! Thanks again Meghan.

A great big thank you for a kind donation to this website goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Kindt, the owners of 'Winnie', their dog who went missing on New Year's Eve in Sechelt. They found little
'Winnie' not too far from home and she is now back home where she belongs.
Your donation is much appreciatated and was used to renew the domain name registration of this website for 2006. Thank you for helping this website to continue to be available for people who have
lost or found pets on the Sunshine Coast.

Thank you to Angela Hendrix and Terry Hare for their kind donation and wonderful card that they sent to me. Their cat Timothy went missing in early July and came home on his own a few days later a bit dirty and hungry but safe. Angela and Terry have made a donation to help keep this site going and even though their little guy made it home on his own their contribution will help other lost pets get home safely too. Thank you so much.

Thank you to the Begg family for your generous donation to this website! Their beautiful cat 'Riley' is still missing! Information about him can be found on the 'lost black and white cats' page of this site. Thank you so much for your support. I hope with all of my heart that 'Riley' comes home to you soon.
I would like to thank the anonymous person who very kindly made a donation in support of this website on February 15th, 2005. I think I know who this generous person is and I would like you to know how much your help is appreciated. Any pets that make it back home via this website will have been able to do so because of people like you! Thank you so much.
Well, the mystery is solved! I have figured out who made the generous donation to this website. Julie Nichols! Of course, she didn't tell me she was behind the donation and probably never would have but after much thought it became clear that she was the 'secret supporter' and was forced to confess under the pressure of intensive interrogating! Thank you so much Julie!
